MX Dye Codes

Our 'pure' dye colors and their corresponding dye codes

‘Dye Codes’ were assigned to Procion brand colors many years ago. Please note that since true Procion brand dyes no longer exist, Procion codes may be outdated or inaccurate, but they should be roughly equal. Some colors that were developed after the discontinuation of the Procion brand may have dye codes that were not assigned by the Procion brand. MX dye codes are formatted as ‘(color) MX-##’. Color Index Names are ‘(color) ###’. Colors may have one or both numbers. Some colors that are 'pure' may not have either code associated.

Bright Azure #50 – Blue MX-2R
